Jug Please note that I am informed that the pottery term for treacle glaze should be ROCKINGHAM Glaze There is a non Szeiler Rushton Pottery IOM TYNWALD 1000 commemorative Viking Toby(250 issued) which was modelled by Mr John Liddle for the IOM Tynwald 1000 years 979 to 1979 Commemmoration.  |
  Both these Viking toby jugs have Szeiler back stamps. There is a slight difference in the painting as the beard and hair have more underglaze blue before the Rockingham glaze was added |
